Introducing "The Glue," a podcast about what holds communities together

Jewish Federations of North America are proud to introduce "The Glue, with Eric Fingerhut," a new podcast that explores the things that hold us together at time when so many forces are working to pull us apart.

As president and CEO of the Jewish Federations of North America, representing over 350 Jewish communities across the US and Canada, Eric Fingerhut knows a thing or two about what makes communities tick, how powerful community can be, and what compels communities to stick together.  In this complicated and often difficult era, when we are challenged by polarization, partisanship, rapid technological change, and social transition, strengthening our social bonds is more important than ever.

Join Eric in each episode for riveting conversations with experts, thought leaders, and local Federation and JCRC leaders in exploring what is holding us together, how communities are evolving, and why their evolution is crucial to some of the biggest social challenges our societies face today.

Subscribe and listen to The Glue here, or find it on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Stitcher, Amazon Music, or wherever you get podcasts, and please leave a review!

Our first episode launches as the trial of the Tree of Life synagogue shooter is set to begin in Pittsburgh. In it, we sit down with Jeff Finkelstein, CEO of the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh, and Maggie Feinstein, director of the 10.27 Healing Partnership, to learn how the community has held together in the face of horrific trauma.

The Glue is Executive Produced by Niv Elis and Produced by Mary Rose Madden.
